Ecstatic Dance Experience in Portland, Oregon

A free form embodiment experience hosted by Sheena Medicina at the DEN PDX
Led by Vincent Martínez-Grieco, Soul Motion® Next Steps

We are very excited to start this week’s dance at 7pm with a workshop led by conscious dance pioneer Vincent Martínez-Grieco. He has been facilitating both locally in Portland & globally in the conscious dance community for decades, and is the creator of Soul Motion. He has continued to explore consciousness, meditation movement, and contemplative dancing since those early years of leading and facilitation, and currently teaches weekly classes in the area as well as travels to Europe twice annually to teach Next Steps which is the present iteration of Soul Motion. Join us before Portland Ecstatic Dance this week for a warming of the body, mind and soul with our special guest, Vincent Martínez-Grieco!

We will then move into an ecstatic dance experience and closing sound healing journey from Aazav (@aazavmusic). Aazav emerges from the fusion of musicians Kai Altair and Haj I Ji's passion for music that animates both body and soul. Drawing from ancestral vocal traditions and deep woods sensibilities, their sound is a convergence of medicine melodies and global organica—a call to the central fire of remembered futures. Their 2019 debut album, "The Looking Stone," garnered support with stellar remixes from collaborators like David Starfire, Govinda, Kaminanda, Drumspyder, and Living Light. Join Aazav in the communal sacrament of rhythm and the natural rite of dance this coming Wednesday night, April 3rd @thedenportland!
